My name is Caleb Whims. I'm an artist who seeks exploration more than anything else. I don't think it's possible for me to "find" my artistic identity because that's something that'll constantly be changing as I learn. I can't ever settle for one medium or a general selection, even if I suck at it. It's important to value failure more than success.

I primarily create animations now, seeing it as the most effective way to bring my ideas to life, but I wouldn't be surprised if that changes soon. Aside from that, I currently enjoy writing, music creation, illustration, and painting. Though I mainly animate, I love to mix and match these forms.

I'm inspired by neo-expressionism and generally art that just FEELS human. Another big inspiration for me is the music I'm listening to/creating at the time. It does a lot of heavy lifting when it comes to the overall message and/or style of my work. Without that, I'm not sure if I'd be creating at all.
